Identifying an opportunity to contribute away from the typical corporate structures, I began my asbestos career in 2010. A natural aptitude for the asbestos realm became apparent, and it quickly became a passion.
After learning the craft and gaining experience by surveying and assessing across all parts of Queensland, I quickly progressed and began operating at a project level on commercial demolition sites circa 2013 and I found my true calling.
Being able to apply previous experience in business and account management, I was able to understand the asbestos component of the project, in regard to the overall project objectives; how it fits into the bigger picture and the impact it can have. Thus, being able to effectively communicate with, and between, contractors and clients, leading to becoming one of the most knowledgeable, experienced and trusted asbestos consultants in New Zealand; working on some of the largest and most complex asbestos remediation projects known in the country.
As an expert in asbestos regulations, having many years of experience on a vast array of projects, I understand the prevalent health and safety risk asbestos poses, as well as the potential business risk to my clients, and all parties involved.
I believe it is important to understand needs and goals of clients and contractors alike and have the required knowledge to work with all parties involved to create practical solutions, while protecting the health and safety of all on site and my client’s best interests.
